Also, if you'd like to invest in a Wii Fit - TOTALLY worth it. I have found it to be invaluable! It has helped me so much with my posture and balance (which are bad due to out-of-shape core muscles). There are easy and fun aerobics and strengh training, as well as yoga and balance games. It is great to see my progess tracked by the Wii Fit software! Even tho' I started at such an easy level I can see how much I've improved. Feels pretty good.
I really know how you feel about being out of shape. I was overweight in my twenties but I really lost it quickly because I was young and still really healthy and strong. I did step aerobics and dance classes and turned into quite the gym bunny.
Twenty years later, I let myself get into a really "bad way" and it's much harder getting in shape. But in the past couple months I've really made real progress.
Please don't give up to soon & don't push too hard at first. Nothing like an injury or sprain to sideline a gal!
