Hi guys.......well, Monday morning in Post Falls Dr Pennings will do my Surgery. So, all you prayer warriers, please say a prayer for me Monday morning. Thank you
I hope to be home Wed. I will post when I can to let you all know how its going.
of course we will all say a prayer for you. I had major surgery 3 weeks ago friday and I worried my self sick but I look back now and think wow that was really not that bad and now I am up and moving and feel better than I have in 2 years hang in there.
being put under was what I was nervous about too just try not to worry and it will all be over before you know it and you will be as good as new just follow doctors orders. please let us know when you are feeling better and you will be in my thoughts and prayers......Cindy
You are in good hand and believe in yourself that you are making the change for you and only YOU. We will pray for a speedy recovery and then you must remember 1 key point .... This is a tool that will take you so far they can fix you physically but not emotionally you will need to put yourself first for a long time and everyone else 2nd. That is the key to sucess. Most people place themselves 2nd and do for others rather than taking parts of there day to do what they need to do. When you think you are slipping go back to the basics and revealuate. It will work I promise!!!
Good luck sweetie and ooodles of prayers.... you'll be home before you know it. Like Mike said, keep focused, keep posting and follow your doctors instruction.
We're with you, darlin!!!!! as everyone said, be sure to TAKE CARE of yourself - and as soon as the doc says you can get out of bed, DO IT, and walk as soon as they allow it.
not only does this truly help your recovery, i've always figured that, if i stayed in bed, it only gave THEM a better chance of finding me and doing stuff to me. silly, i know. but i always keep moving when i'm in the hospital - it makes me harder to catch!!!!
And it's a brand-new beginning for you - so my biggest piece of advice is to look FORWARD, not back - think about your new chance at a healthy life - and embrace it.
You have surgery today so you won't see these posts for quite a while..but know people were thinking about you while you were in surgery...I know I have been!
