Wii Fit Plus
Don't know if this has already been posted but I just saw this commercial on TV and thought I needed to share!
Wii Fit Plus!
If you already own Wii Fit (which I do)... you can purchase the disc only for $20 American.
Comes with same games as the original plus an additional 20 games. Be nice, since I'm getting bored of the games... and this version has multiplayer! Oooo and it counts calories - something I wished the original did!
It may be worth the $20... but same time it has mostly the same stuff as the original.... hmmm!

I got it last night but I haven't tried it yet. DD has a big test tomorrow so we probably won't try it tonight....I'd love to know what others think of it!

So excited - mine is coming in the mail today!
Wait, so it has all of the original games too? I should sell off my Wii Fit disc then! I did win my original Wii Fit set, but this will offset buying the Wii Fit Plus.
Mailman, come drop off my game! I wanna see my Biggest Loser Yoga too.

We got it on Monday, and we love it! Haven't tried any of the multi player stuff yet, but we've been enjoying ourselves running through the obstacle-like course with the swinging balls and rolling logs.

I have thought about it but not sure yet. I know there is going to be a new biggest loser one coming out soon too. I use the My Fitness Coach right now and I have used the wii fit and I did the EA Sports Active too.

Weight loss newbie motivated by Wii
Hi all,
I've been looking all over the net for a group that uses Wii for fun and excercise!
I'm a real newbie when it comes to weight loss. I attempted to lose weight once about 4 years ago on Weight Watchers with co-workers and lost 10 lbs, but didn't have the money to renew the 3 month membership to continue and I eventually gained 20 back.
I started my second attempt at weight loss 9/18/09 using Wii Fit and portion control (Healthy Choice) and have lost 7 lbs so far. Wonder if it is really fat I have lost since it seems like a lot to me in 18 days. Any thoughts?

Usually, the beginning is a lot of water weight loss (Think about it - 2 8oz glasses is 16oz - how much a pound weighs. Adds up easily). Over time it will likely slow down a bit (though not necessarily, depending on all you are doing).
The important part is to keep going. Some weeks it may show only a tiny loss/no loss/even a lil gain. There are all sorts of reasons it could happen - water retention from too much salt, just water period, monthly cycle, etc. But soon enough it usually breaks and you lose more again. Good job on 7 pounds so far.
My Wii Fit just arrived. Wheeee! I need to open it up and try it out.

I have only done the cycling so far on Wii Fit Plus, but it was pretty fun. Still quite excited.
The Biggest Loser Yoga I got was actually a DVD. I've seen the games, but I'm waiting to hear a little more about how it is.

So I bought the Wii Fit Plus today - figure, for $25 Canadian, I can afford it. Some of the games I've tried are so FUN and HALIRIOUS! I love it.
I also saw the Biggest Loser game too but it was at $45; thought I couldn't make an impulse buy. Maybe if I hear some good things about it here... I may just buy it too...

I think so. There's a bunch of new games. It also now counts calories, and you can set up exercise routines so you don't have to keep switching games or such every 3 minutes.
