Hello everyone,
I need help remembering the name of a movie I saw a while back. It has been driving me crazy for the past month and none of the people I have asked has seen it nor do they remember it.
The only details I can remember is one scene towards the end of the movie.
The setting of the movie is fairly old but the breakdown is a black man has been accused of either rape/murder (not sure) that someone else committed. I believe either a white/mexican dude did it. Well the black man is found not guilty and is released. When he leaves the courthouse, there are lots of media and reporters outside waiting for the man to come out. Anyway when he parts through the crowd and gets in the car with his wife, a mother walks up to the window of the car and knocks on it. The guy rolls down the window and she apologizes for everything he has been through and then puts a gun to his head and shoots him and kills him.
That's all I can remember! The woman was either the mother of the person killed/raped or the mother of the true guilty guy. I am stumped!!!! If this rings a bell let me know!!!!
I thought "To Kill A Mockingbird", too, but no. I also thought about that movie with Sally Field, but don't think that is it either. Was it an in the theaters movie or a made for tv movie?
