Default A reward.

I feel good about this.

I don't like to work for my rewards. I get too twisted up in the whole thing and tend to take the attitude "losing weight should be it's own reward" but today, noticing that the ticker has moved to 40lbs lost (though it is lying--I've actually only lost 39.4) and even though 40 is not 50, (and really I should wait until I've really accomplished something, you know, the stupid self-talk!)

Well, I did it anyway!!

After that build up, you'll laugh when I told you what I got for myself--well, I hope you do!

cue: music

I bought Leslie Sansone's "Walk Off Your Belly Fat" and, are you ready for it? "30 minute Quick Start Pilates for Weight Loss."

and get this: neither one was on sale.

ooh--just too much excitement in one day, I tell ya!

(PS: You all have permission to send me a pm out of the blue and ask me if I've used either one! Preferably by this time next week--OK?)

What!??? You moved your ticker AND you bought two not-on-sale DVDs??!!! What crazy, out-of-control thing will you do next! You are a wild, crazy Canadian!!

Seriously, though--good for you! 40 pounds is great (and yes, 39.4 is close enough to move it). And the DVD's might just be what you need to break out of your funk. So good for you for treating yourself!

Congratulations! Losing 40 pounds is cause for celebration.

I see the DVDs as tools that you need. I have several of Leslie Sansone's DVDs and they are great. What is the difference in the "Walk Off Your Belly Fat" and her other DVDs?

Actually it is called "Walk Your Belly Flat --it has a three mile walk (with the mile markers) and a "belly sculpt and stretch" for 10 minutes.

I'm just going by the back of it.

How that compares to her others, I'm not sure. I've only had a couple out of the library...and that was last Spring!
