Default My best NSV

The other day I bought khakis from Old Navy in a size 12 this is exciting for me since I started at a snug 18. The NSV however was when I put them on and wore them out I looked at my rear in the mirror and it looked huge! My first thought was not that I was fat, but rather that the pants were wrong for me because the pockets were too small. Instead of falling to pieces I went back to Old Navy and bought a pair that worked for my rear.

Any others with good NSV's today?

Heya Mickeypnd, NSV stands for non-scale victory.

My own NSV is that I fit into a pair of jeans that I bought 3 years ago (and were too tight on me then). I've been trying them on for the last month, but today was the first time I could wear them without 1) straining to zip them up or 2) looking like I have a smushed butt. yay!

WVU, I think the best NSVs are the body image ones...well done you

As for me, this actually happened a while ago but I thought about it today because it involves the cute desk guy at my gym, with whom I had a conversation today. About a month or so ago, he'd been off on summer vacation and I had lost a noticeable amount of weight, and when I walked into the gym and he was back at the desk, I said hi to him, and he tried to say something smooth back but just got totally tongue-tied instead and actually blushed. It was adorable and made me feel like a million bucks

my NSV was small...but i dug out my sorority lettered shirts today that I *hated* cause they were too tight and made me really uncomfortable. But I wore one today and didn't feel like I was one giant fat roll. Score one for having more lettered shirts.

Put on jeans that I couldn't wear even the last time I lost a lot of weight. And they look fabulous!!! I have had them since 2005. Couldn't even get them over my hips last time.

went to Sniagrab (thats bargain spelled backwards!) for the local ski crap sale that marks the beginning of the "season" here. Grabbed ab unch of medium ski pants off the rack to try on...TOOO BIG. Grabbed 7 or 8 size SMALLS...STILL TOO BIG.......xtra small??? they only had two items in xtra small, so i will have to look elsewhere for my ski clothing needs i guess!!!

My NSV this week is that I bought a dress in June for my trip to Disney World next week. When I bought it I could barely zip it and it was bunchy and looked horrible. The other day I tried it on and it fit perfect. I was so proud of myself for losing enough to be able to wear it on my trip.
