Default 20 lbs down! NOW I feel like i'm getting somewhere!!

Technically, my weigh day is Saturday, in the morning....but I was curious and I hadn't weighed since then...so I turned on the Wii and I got on the scale....

225 LBS!
I'm not to Onederland yet, and i've still got a ways to go....

BUT I'VE LOST 20 LBS IN 43 DAYS!!! WOOOOHOOOO!

Honestly, I was excited when I lost ten, I was excited when I reached 15...i've been excited every single pound I lost...but I never really felt like I was getting there....

I mean, saying you've lost 16 lbs sounds SO MUCH less cool then saying you've lost 20. It's only a few lbs different...but to me I feel like I'm on a whole different planet...

I was SO worried. I haven't really been exercising, and last week I went to chilis for dinner one night, and the next day I went to an Astros game and ate a personal (greasy cheesy and delicious) pizza, AND a full butter and salt covered soft pretzle...and yesterday I ate a doughnut =/

I guess the things I see as big mistakes aren't so bad when you've planned ahead for them...

I mean, I did eat a doughnut yesterday, but I only went over by two points...

The day when we went to chiles, I only ate half of my burger and less then half of my fries...and i didn't take it home.

I guess what I'm saying is I'm doing a better job of resisting temptation then I thought....and I lost 20 freaking pounds! woooohooooo!!!

Awesome job! It does feel a bit better to say, "20 pounds" rather than "16 pounds", it feels like a lot more weight even though it's only a difference of 4 pounds.

congratulations i know what you mean... i was like "ok, ive lost 10 lbs... that's easily gained back"... but then when i realized i've lost over 20 lbs, i was like "HOLY CRAP, this is ACTUALLY working" lol. no more ups and downs, with more gaining than losing... it just feels so much more real
