1- It's normal to lose a lot initially (partly from water weight, partly from radical change in diet). It will likely slow down as you go on.

2- Make sure you are weighing yourself at the same time of day under the same conditions (ie- empty stomach v. full stomach, pre-bathroom v. post-bathroom). That way you get the most accurate results
