Well what I do is ate a lot of apples, they naturally wake you up, actually! And try cinnamon pills (yes, pills...or you can sprinkle it on your oatmeal...new studies show that cinnamon is an energy booster). And I don't think a little caffeine is so bad. Instead of my 16 oz. coffee I just cut down to a 12 oz. and got used to that. Doesn't a cup of coffee a day have health benefits??

My center has told me of people that still drink one Diet Coke a day with caffiene. They claim it hinders the weight loss but only slightly. I honestly think that as long as you are only doing 1 cup of coffee or one can of Diet drink a day, it won't hurt you tremendously. Or even try to take one excedrin in the morning. (My mom has done that for years and claims it is her cup of coffee.)

I just do one tsp caff and 1 tsp non caff when I make my cup of coffee. Otherwise the headache I get is off the richter scale!

I've been more exhausted and tired on this diet than any other, and I think part of that is due to NO caffeine. Before the diet I would have one cup of coffee in the morning and just one Coke Zero in the afternoon as a pick me up. With no extra energy boost, I've felt pretty cruddy. But, I'm dropping the weight so I suppose feeling cruddy in exchange for eventually being thin is worth the trade.

Goose - I feel like that, too. I'm thinking it's because we take in so few calories during the day.

You might want to try the Liquid Minerals if you aren't already...I was so low starting this diet and could hardly function I decided to start the Liquid Minerals and by the next day I was feeling like my old self again and the Liquid Minerals are not too expensive, I think it was around $15.00 or so for the month.

I have been on the Liquid Minerals about a month. I've noticed other people saying it makes them feel better; I can't really tell a difference. It does help my leg cramps, but as far as giving me energy I guess I'm out of luck.

I don't know why we feel so bad, but I'm tired of being tired. LOL I get a little high when I get to take Excedrin for my headaches.
