Default For the first time ever...

I actually ran for twenty minutes straight today! No walking, no stopping. I still can't believe I actually ran the whole thing. Had my legs no been so tired when I got done, I probably would have danced in the parking lot of my apartment complex. Several years ago, I had really gotten into exercising while trying to lose weight, and even though I could kick butt walking, I still never could run for more than a few minutes. Six weeks ago, I thought it would never happen.

WOW!!!!! that's amazing!!!! well done ! you're a total superstar!

i can only run/jog for 1 minute straight. i've only recently been able to do that. before i couldnt run/jog for more than 30 seconds!! now around the 50 second mark my legs start to hurt, lactic acid build up. and then i push myself for the last 10 seconds and my legs kill and burn. but i then walk until the pain subsides. and go for the next 1 minute. i'm hoping slowly i will get fitter and be able to run for 1 minute pain free.

how did you do it? did you slowly build up over the weeks?

well done!
