Talking Quickly popping in!
Day four of vacation

We're in Sechelt in the Sunshine Coast of BC Canada. We've been beaching, blackberry picking, walking, shopping... it's been fantastic!!!

My weight Saturday morning (four days after surgery) was 250.6... the height of my bloating. Today it's 245. So coming down nicely! Getting in all of my water and staying on plan. I'm not eating as many veggies as I could but getting in tons of fruit. It's hard to be on plan at someone elses house but my MIL took me shopping and bought me food so I could stick to my regular stuff! So nice

We've mostly been eating at home. We went out for lunch today for the first time. A grilled ham and cheese with some beef barley soup. It was good and I had the calories. My kids and hubby all had burgers, fries etc but I was happy with my choices.

Anyways feeling REALLY GOOD since my surgery. The pain is mostly gone. I'm rebuilding my strength and feeling fine.

I'm back offline for another few days (by choice) and doing my menu plans the old fashioned way. Pen and paper baby. I have SUCH a good grip on calorie counts now that it's simple!!!!

Enjoy yourself, HotMama ---- I am so glad that the surgery and the pain it fixed are behind you. Hugs to your MIL for helping you stay OP (not that there was much chance that you would be anything else!) and hugs to you for hanging tough when life was being very difficult.
