Default Vibrating mascara??

I saw a commercial for a tube of vibrating mascara from maybelline I think. I freely admit, I am not a girly girl (yet) but the thought of the mess I could make on my face with this makes me laugh. Has anyone else saw this or used it??

I read about it in a magazine a few months ago, and my first thought was that I'd poke myself in the eye too! Even stranger than the vibrating mascara, imo, is the new kind that forms a polymer lash around your lashes, and at the end of the day you put some water on and pull the mascara "tubes" off of your own lashes. I'd probably poke myself in the eye with those too ...

I've been putting my mascara on for a great many years without the need to vibrate them for $12

I saw that at Target the other week.

1st thought: How have I not heard of this?!?!

2nd thought: wouldn't the vibrations splatter the mascara?

3rd thought: (like the rest of you) I'd probably poke myself in the eye

I think its supposed to prevent clumping by shaking the lashes back and forth??

I've actually used this stuff. I think mine was called "Kiss Me" mascara or something like that. I like the way that it stayed ON until you took it off, and then you just get it wet and wipe it off your eyes. My sister called the tubes that come of "spider legs" because that is kind of what they looked like. I didn't actually like the look of it on my eyelashes, though, because it looked kind of thin and spikey or something.

As for the vibrating wand--forget it! I can't see to put on mascara without getting right up close to the mirror, so I'm sure I would jab that vibrating thing up into my eyeball as I was getting situated. Either that, or my contact lens would get all ripped up by it.

The vibrating mascara wand kind of reminds me of this thing:

I have trouble with a round brush and a blow dryer. I can't imagine my hair getting stuck and tangled in a rotating curling iron. I'm fascinated by their infomercials, though.
