Questions about gold plan???
Hi! My name is Katie and I'm new to this board...I have found lots of really helpful info already!
I did LAWL in 2004 but I no longer have any of the information...
I am planning on starting tomorrow with the TO drink and I would appreciate any info on getting started on the the gold plan...meal plan, foods, serving size, etc.
I am sure that this info is available somewhere on this site but I havn't been able to find it! THANKS so much!!!
Katie

I haven't been on here in quite some time, but am making an effort to start LAWL again. The information that I have for the Gold Plan is:
2 P, 1 D, 2 S, 3 V, 3 F, 1 Fat, 2 Bars
The Gold Plan is for those who have 25+ lbs to lose.
Hope this helps

for 25+ to lose? is that the coloured plans?
Because I'm on plan 3 (light plum coloured book) ((Needed to lose 55lbs)) WITHOUT the lites/any bars and it is:
3 proteins,
3 veggies,
2 fruits,
2 starches,
2 dairy,
1 fat.
But if I choose to do the plan with la lites (which I sometimes do when I can afford their insanely priced bars) I'm on plan 2 which has:
3 proteins,
2 veggies,
2 fruits,
2 starches,
1 dairy,
1 fat, and the
2 la lites
and of course on both plans you need to drink 8(64oz) cups of water
As for the portion sizes... well they sorta revamped their menu plan but it's generally the same. Most meat proteins are 4oz per servings -- Chicken breast, fish, shellfish and turkey breast.
The new menu has beef, luncheon meats, pork and salmon, but they servings are a tad smaller (generally 3oz for these meats) and shouldn't be eaten more then twice a week.)
Dairy??
Dairy has cheese; 3 grams of fat or less per oz ........2oz is one serving
skim milk / 1% milk ..........1cup is one serving
includes rice and soy milk as well ..............1cup is one serving
and yogurt is light, fat free, sweetened,, any flavor......... 1cup is one serving
plain non fat yogurt ...................1cup is one serving
frozen, fat free ..............1/2c is one serving
hope this helps somewhat!

For clarification that should be with 25 lbs to loose for the Gold Plan and not 25+ lbs (Sorry I put the + on the wrong side). That is with Bars. Here is the information I have pulled from this board from other members.
ideal weight + 10 = green
Ideal weight + 25 = gold
Ideal weight + 60 = purple
Ideal weight + 80 = Red
Ideal weight + 100 = Red1
I think the rule is, if you don't want to do the bars you move up to the next plan. So if you were on Gold and didn't want the bars you would move to the Purple plan.

Ahh interesting! Yea, the bars were just too costly, and I still didn't find the luna bars or another replacement (but I wasn't really looking tho... ) -- hrmm.

Hi kyoung08 and Rivlee
I am a new member too. I am trying to do the purple plan. I am so happy I think I 've found the place to get the info I will need to succeed. Thanks
I was on the plan before and have a recipe I want to share. Tastes like a parfait and only counts as your dairy. All you have to do is mix 1 container of sugar free jello flavor of your choice with 1 container of NonFat plain yougurt and enjoy. If you want it sweeter just add one pack of splenda. I plan to use this as a breakfast in a pinch or a snack. Hope you like it. Let me know

Deltadiva60:
What are the sizes in your recipe? Small or Large pkt of SF Jello vs. what size yogurt? I think the yogurt comes in 6oz up to 32oz. Just checking. I haven't thought of this, but it sounds like it could be something to have some fun with.
