Default stalling

I have been stalled in my weight loss effots for 3 months now, so I attempted (let's just say this attempt wasn't on purpose) to up my calories to maintenance and then drop them. It actually worked and dropped to 171 from 175. Is this just a fluke or does the body sometimes need a little maintenance before it can let go.

I only did maintenance calories for 2 weeks and actually only daily plate they said it was my calories to lose only 1 lb instead of 1.5

IMO, this ALWAYS works, it is a tool called calorie shifting. The best way to do a plan is to stop and start to NOT allow the body time to adjust to one specific amount of calories.

So should I use what the daily plate says as my regular calorie amount of 1600 and vary it? Or is there someplace that will help me know the numbers I should use?
