Exclamation I hate the 180s

Unless you are really tall, or really built. 180s are never a good weight.

I have been battling the 180s for 3 years now. Considering I was down into the 160s 3 years ago...

I hate them, Yet I always seem to give up right before I break them and get back down into the 170s.

I am determined to do it this time. I know I can. I have a daily log from all the way back to 2006. And that is my motivation. I-me-myself...can do it. I've done it b4.

Anybody else in the 180s trying to break free? Come join me. Whatever WOE...I don't care. It would be nice to have some company?

Unless you're talking really tall - 180's aren't good for any female. But honest - you can do it. The 180's are where I tend to settle at my "high weight" - and it's rough to get out of them. However, as incentive - I tend to breeze right through the 170's - maybe you will to. Now I'm trying to get back to the 150's . . . sigh . . Been stuck in the 160's for AGES now!

You can do it! It is highly motivating to beak into a new, lower decade! And it is great you can look at your daily log and *know* what works for you! Stick with your plan, you'll be in the 170s in no time!

Oh no don't tell me the 180's are hard to get out of. I feel like I'm stuck in the 190's and can't get out. I'm doing everything "right" - eating my healthy goal of calories, and exercising every single day. I hope the 180's aren't as bad as the 190's!

Hi, I have been a lurker here, but this thread inspired me to register.

The 180's has been my default position for awhile, I have had some additional gain in the past couple of years. I have lost that weight and am now back in that land of 180's.

This is actually the first time that I have ever tried to do something about my weight. I started WW in the end of May and have been pleased with the program and the results.

But I am looking forward to that 179.9999!

Sometimes it isn't the NUMBER, per se, like there is something magical about the 180s that everyone has trouble with. IMHO, I think that we all have weight points that we, for some reason, find horrible but NOT so bad that we do something about! That EEEK point, which is different for everyone.

My EEEEK point was 200lbs. I have to adjust my EEK point if I want to get the weight down and keep it off. If my EEEK point is reset to 140lbs, I think I'll make it. But if I lose the weight at 200lbs is still "OK", I'll have a tough time not bouncing back up there.

Thanks jelder...Yeah..I believe i will breeze right through the 170s. I can't wait to see 179 either...last time I got to 181 and quit!

Someone made a "wow you put on a lot of weight" comment. They hadn't seen me in 4 years. I was alot skinnier then. So the fact that they couldn't even tell I'd lost weight. and commented on me putting on weight. really HURT!!!

I don't care now. I am bound and determined to lose this darn weight and KEEP IT OFF. NO matter how lovely my man thinks my squishy butt is...IT MUST GO.

i posted pics of my FAT LOSS in mini goal. I think there is a huge difference with fast 5. Fat is disappearing! Weight doesn't look dramatic, but that picture of my butt has me convinced!

Wow, I have been in the 180's for quite sometime (yrs).
I think its true about having a personal eeek point. Mine was 200 (well, 205 to be exact)and I stayed there for about a year, but then when I started paying attention to myself 20lbs flew off and I have been hovering at 185ish forever. Not great, but a world away from 205.
Just yesterday I hit 179 and I felt like I could really do this thing. It felt great, so great, I actually went and bought another scale to make sure, since mine is pretty old-both scales said 179!
I waited such a long time and it happened quick, 183 to 179.
It will happen and when it does your motivation will hit the roof! I sure hope its true about breezing through the 170's.

I am now resetting the eeeek point to 160

I was 186 last summer. I'd take it back in a heartbeat.

Yep, I got out of the 180s, but then knee prolems laid me up and I am back at 180 again. Ugh.

I am looking for a buddy as well... to keep each other on track.

I haven't been 180 since elementary school... For me the 250's are tough, I get down there and seem to go off course and gain weight back. The lowest I've been in 5 years is 248, so that's a bit of a mini-goal at this point, especially since I am about to enter the 250's once again.

I hope you are able to overcome the 180's, best of luck!!

I'd be so happy if I could get into the 180's! It has to be a lot better than the 230'2/240's - I haven't been less than the weight I am now for just over 10 years since I was pregnant with my first daughter and I always feel if I can get bellow the 230's I can do it and get back to the weight I should be.

Hope you get out the 180's soon and to a weight that you're happy with. Can't wait to get to the 180's and see what's so bad about them!

I alway shave the same problem about 240! (similar BMI to you). The 240's are tough for me and i just got into the 230's. I always mess up about now - not this time though. We can do it this time
