I've been using Sara Lee Delightful Whole Wheat bread. It's 1 point for 2 slices and really delicious, but I'm wondering if it's really that "healthy". Any suggestions of your favorite low point breads?

Look at the label. The first ingredient should be whole wheat and it should not be whole wheat flour. Most low calorie breads and not whole grain.

Dimpflemeier whole wheat is 1 point/slice and it is delicious!

I love Arnold sandwich thins. It's a cross between a bun and bread. 1 pt. each.

Earthgrains 35 calorie with added vegetable fiber. It is 1 point for 2 slices and pretty yummy!

I do the Sara lee 45 cal bread too or flatout wraps (1pt)!

Thanks for all the ideas!! I've heard alot of good things (from reading the boards) about the Arnold Sandwich Thins and Flatout wraps. Does anyone know is those items are just in the bread area or in a specialty area? I've seen Earthgrains, but never figured the points out, so that's a great option, too! Thanks again everyone!

Flatout is usually found in the bread aisle. I live in a small town and have to make a trip to the next town's walmart to get them. Luckily for me they don't go bad nearly as fast a bread so I get a couple of packs

At my grocery the Flat out wraps are in the deli. The Arnold Sandwich thins are in the bread aisle. I have also found the Arnold thins at Sam's.

If you like rye bread, I accidentally discovered Arnold rye bread, melba sliced. It's very thin and toasts almost like a cracker depending on how much you toast it. We have tuna on it, it's great lots of flavor and 1 pt for two since it's sliced so thin.

Kind of like their sandwich thins, really thin buns, we like those too.

I also like their natural breads, they are also low pts. because lots of fiber.

I'm not a big fan of whole grain breads. I know they're healthier even if the points are higher, but they just taste too earthy for me. I like the Nature's Own Honey Wheat Light. It has extra fiber so it's 1pt for 2 slices.

I bought some of the Arnold Sandwich Thins based on this thread and I love them! So yummy and just enough bread to make a good sandwich, since most of the breads on the market don't really impress me anyway and I consider them a waste of points. (now homemade bread is another matter)

I have toasted the thins and spread a little of the Naturally More! Peanut Butter on them - oh so good! The peanut butter (another product I recently read about here on 3FC but don't remember where - thanks to whoever mentioned it!) is free of artificial junk and has flax seed and wheat germ added.

I am going to go grocery shopping tomorrow morning and will keep my eye open for those wraps, since they are getting so many accolades as well. Thanks, chicks!

Depending where you are, (I shop in MI) I get something called Aunt Millie's Light Potato bread and its 1 point for 2 slices and sooooo tastes like regular white bread, soft and spongey!

I'm a big sandwich thins fan too!
