Default Accountability for me!

Hi Ladies,

It has been a while since I have been on here. After a crazy semester, including renegotiating our teachers' contract, I am ready to focus on my self again. This is such a supportive community, and I am in need of that support. From July '07-until about January '09, I lost almost 70 pounds. I have been on a self-inflicted plateau for the past six months! The good news is that I have maintained where I stopped losing. The bad news is that I haven't lost any more.

BUT... this thread is going to be my daily weight and exercise accountability. I started training for a half marathon (August 2), but have a strained tendon, so I have been unable to run for 2 weeks. Hopefully Wednesday I will be able to start running again. In the meantime, I have been riding the exercise bike, so I am not without workouts.

So, here we go! I am going to do morning weigh-ins. I would like to lose 2 pounds per week at least. I would like to be in the 190's when I go to D.C. in mid-July!

6/13- 211.3- Rode stationary bike on "random," level 8, 1 hour and 45 minutes (30 miles)
6/14- 210.0- 450m freestyle, 450m aqua running, 450m combo of backstroke, breaststroke, and sidestroke, 450m aqua run
6/15- 208.6- Off
6/16- 209.0- Rode stationary bike on "random," level 10, 1 hour (16.75 miles)
6/17- 207.4- Ran 3 miles
6/18- 207.8- Off
6/19- 206.2- Off
6/20- 205.2- Ran 4.5 miles at 11:30/mile (52 minutes)
6/21- 205.0- Rode stationary bike on "random," level 9 (18 miles) for 1 hour & 15 mins arm weight machines
6/22- 203.0- Ran 4 miles at 11:45/mile (47 minutes)
6/23- 204.8- Off
6/24- ? - Ran 6.5 miles at 11:30/mile (75 minutes)
6/25- ? - Off (Don't know weight today and yesterday b/c I was at my mom's house without a scale!)
6/26- 206.0- Ran 5 miles at 11:30/mile

Congrats on the 70 pounds lost! I think starting your own weight and exercise accountability thread is a great idea!

I went to my ortho today I am cleared to run! I ran 3 miles this morning and the top left of my foot hurts, but I am going to rock some ibuprofin and keep my fingers crossed!!

Does being sick make your weight fluctuate? I have a cold and cough and I am up 3 pounds! What?!

I also have slight gains when I get a cold...(think of all the fluid you cough and blow out during the course of a cold.) I also have a problem when certain pollens are high.
