Default What will I get that is different with the new starter kit?

I am not able to go to meetings at this time because of DH's work schedule and me with the kids all the time.

I haven't done WW in several years, but I do have the info from back then that included points.

The momentum plan looks to me to be the same as what I was on.....with the idea of getting the most volume for your foods to keep you full.

Has it really changed or is it just a new name for the same concept?

Thanks,

Dawn

I can't speak to the starter kit, but here are some links that describe the Momentum program. In short, you get a set number of points, and 35 Flex a week. You try to focus on "filling foods" (previously known as the Core foods) but account for everything.

As for exactly WHAT you get in the starter kit, well, I'm just not sure. You might want a points calculator, an exercise calculator, and some weekly trackers...

OH, and check out the WW at Home thread on this site. These guys are doing what you are doing so they will be a great resource.

Hope this helps!

Thank you. That seems to be about the same as when I left. I can have the same number of points, same number of flex points, etc....

Thank you!

Now I can't find my old WW stuff! ACK! We are remodelling and I am sure I must have put it in some box somewhere.

I know the general principals until I can get the stuff. I also have about 10 weeks of blank food journals.

I really want to start tomorrow! I guess I will write down foods and look them up online for points values for the time being.

Yo! Me again!
This should help you out in the meantime -- an online WW food points guide:

AND if you can't find your stuff (and live in the US), try this:

Thanks Kira. I was able to find my points slide. It is a little beat up, but at least I can use it.

I found a WW center near where I need to run errands. I am going to see if they will let me buy some stuff there. I am a former lifetime member (well, technically I am still lifetime as my life isn't over, but I have so much more to lose this time.) So maybe they will let me purchase items without rejoining.

I will report back!
