Default Omg - Good deal...

So today I went to get my gym membership. It was going to be $125 for a year. I don't really need a year because I'm in college and will only be down here for the summer, but I didn't think there was another way to get around that. However....... The lady at the desk told me they have a "Student Summer Membership."

It's the WHOLE summer for 30 bucks.

I'm sooooooooo excited that I can workout to my heart's content this summer for 10 bucks a month. YEAH!!!!!

I pay $65 per month (family membership), so that's an incredibly good deal for the summer or the entire year! Awesome!

Excellent! I work at a university and paid $150 for the year (Jan09-Jan10), but it has since gone up to $200 per year. It's still cheaper than the Y and more convenient.

I work at a gym so it's free for me, but when I quit (in Aug) it will be $40 a month! Awesome deal!

great deal!

I pay about $45/mo for the Y here, I get a small discount from my insurance company.

I make myself laugh, bec I calculate: ok, if I go this many times this week, I'm paying x dollars for each visit! I guess whatever gets me in there more often, heh heh

love the Y, laid back, all kinds of people go there.

I pay $55 per month at the Y and that is after a discount. I do the breakdown math per workout too.

That is so awesome! Great deal! I wish I could afford the Y or any gym membership, and they were closer then 20 minutes from me. The closest I have is a the athletic and aquatic center at the local high school that is open to public certian hours a day. It is so much a time you come in ($1.50 or $2.00) or you can buy a year or six month membership. It is all machines though and I would love to be able to go to classes and stuff like at the Y. Oh well working out at home (all dvds) and walking/jogging around town has helped me lose 30 pounds. I guess I can't complain. Have fun this summer at your gym!!!

The gym I go to is at the local community pool/tennis center, and it is only available to the residents of my city... so I guess that's why the cost is so low. They do it as a service for everyone in the community.

Wow that's fantastic! I'm envious, mine is $79 a month right now oof. I love it so much though and it's a super close drive... I just keep telling myself that it creates a good incentive to make darn sure I'm getting my money's worth! That's awesome for you.
