S/C/G: 307/lost 140+ lbs/125

Default Started crying at Banana Republic.... they fit!!!!!

Hello all!

After a wonderful lunch/art museum & shopping in downtown Seattle today (saturday), I took a gamble: I've always wanted to buy an outfit from Banana Republic when I hit my target goal....

But, I thought.... well, I can fit into some size 14-12 pants (*thanks to weight lifting! LOL).... so a pal of mine and I went into Banana Republic and asked what size pants they carried: size 0-14 in the store, larger sizes sold online.

So, I grabbed a pair of black trousers in sizes 12 & 14, knowing dang well my thighs would NOT fit into a size 10 just yet, lol. I also grabbed a gorgeous, sleeveless shirt in several different sizes.

I went into the dressing room, and held my breath for a moment. They.... fit!

Not the size 14... the size 12!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sleevless shirt, I was doubtful I could squeeze into the lowest size I selected from the rack: a size medium, but I did! It wasn't even squeezing in the shirt..... heck, it showed off my rock-hard abs!!!

My gf asked me to pose while she took a pic of me She was just grinning from ear to ear as well

I decided I could not leave the store without SOMETHING to mark the event Then I found out the shirt I tried on was 30% off for Memorial Day holiday weekend and I would save nearly 12 bucks (*making it the price of a hardcover book).

So heck YEAH I bought it!

133 lbs lost to date, and I finally can wear Banana Republic!!!

Yahoo!!!!!!!!

How absolutely incredibly wonderful for you. What an awesome, awesome feeling.

I can't relate. I too started crying in a dressing room. It was in Macy's. It was the first time in over 20 years that I fit into a "regular" sized shirt. And I was so overcome, I weeped like a baby.

I am so happy for you. Your hard work and dedication are surely paying off.

many congrats! I remember feeling that way when I was at a BR Outlet and fit into a XL shirt. I'm sure it'll feel 3 times that when I fit into their pants. You're such an inspiration!
