I also love the WII Fit and want to try the new EA Active game. My birthday is coming up and I've been dropping MAJOR hints to my boys.....here's hoping! Reviews that I've read on Bestbuy.com & Amazon have been positive.

I have wii fit, golds gym and my fitness coach. After the EA Active has been out for a little while and I've read a lot of reviews, I may get that one also. It looks promising.

I borrowed a friends copy of Julian Micheals and was so glad I didn't buy it. That one was a complete disappointment.

I like the My Fitness Coach I think it is what you make of it...some of the moves remind me of Jazzercise. The ONLY downside for me is that if you want to work multiple areas you still have to do the little warm up each time...which really isn't a downside it's just me being lazy-ish. I also like the periodic fit test shows me my progress and it's fun.

I just finished my first workout on Active and had FUN! I started the 30 day challenge so Ill keep you up to date. I did the easiest workout they offered and was sweating!! burned 148 calories and excerised for about 25 minutes laughing my way through it except the run but thats someting I will get better at! When the boxing came on I was thinking oh no here comes torture and I have to say its my favorite so far!!

So I did Active 3 days in a row took 2 off and boy o boy did my thighs feel the burn!! Back on it today and we worked alot of upperbody. I think Im going to tighten my band by shortening it to get more resistance. So far Im really enjoying it and working up a sweat on the easiest mode.

That sounds like a handy way to exercise Maybe someday...

Tonight I went walking for the first time in quite a few months. I met up with one of my girlfriends and we walked around McKinley Park in East Sacramento for a total of 2.2 miles. My feet are a bit achy, but it feels good to be exercising again. We'll be meeting there most Tuesday and Thursday nights, and on the other evenings I plan to walk around my block at least once, which is about 1 mile.

I'll be glad once I'm used to walking regularly again.

I don't have the Wii, though it looks like a lot of fun, and we don't have a Gold's Gym in our area, so I can't comment on the OP, but I want to commend you all for exercising in whatever way you do it! It helps SO much!

Gold's Gym is mostly boxing and some great core exercises you can use the wii fit board. My dh has gotten to the running exercise where you run in the woods for a little bit then stop and punch a bear that pops up.

My Fitness Coach- I didn't really like it at first. I felt it was too dancey for me. But after a few times it got better. When she says to do something I feel is too high impact, I march in place or something lower impact. I have arthritis in my knees and back so somethings aren't the best exercises for me. So after 8 exercises sessions I've actually begun to really enjoy it. She'll ask you every few minutes how it was and you can say if it was ok, too hard or too simple and she says she'll adjust it the next time. My dh and I are both on the same schedule and he has different exercises then I do.

And today someone I work with said "Sarah what are doing? Your butt is getting smaller!" That made me feel really good.
