Default Anyone Heard of This?

Take Care Clinics located in Walgreen's recently announced a Take Care Recovery Plan offer that if you are a current patient and lose your job and don't have health insurance you and your family can visit the clinic for free. What do you guys think of this?

the program is very limited in services and you had to be a patient at the clinic in order to qualify (among other things). But it's nice that Walgreens is reaching out in these hard times.

more info can be found on their website - www.takecarehealth.com

Free clinics are amazing. We are just starting one in my community.I will be working there 1 day a week. There are so many people who have lost health benefits and so many people not seeking medical care for this reason.I applaud Walgreens. They are expensive to run.

The Walgreen's here in Minnesota don't have these clinics (I looked on their website), but there are plenty other in-store quickie-clinics, I know Target stores have them, and we have two on the campus where I work

The Take Care clinics are located in select Walgreens - they are a nice alternative to running to the doctors office since you don't have to worry about making an appointment or waiting in the doctors office forever.
