Hi everybody... I'm new, but not-so-new...
You know the W.O.W. explanation that gets copied/pasted at the beginning of each of your new challenges? Yeah, well guess who originally wrote that...! ME (with help and input from the veterans)!
I was one of the founding members of W.O.W., and I'm really glad to see you all still going.
I've had some... uh...
difficulties over the past year, but today I am recommitting. Is it too late for me to jump on board for this challenge?
Okay - so July 4 seems like it's really far away, but it'll be here before we know it. And, recognizing that I'm kind of starting over and terrified of overwhelming myself with too much too soon, I'm going to set my goals really super-small. Here's what I'd like to accomplish:
1) Re-implement an exercise routine, and stick to it; and
2) Get to 155. I recognize I may exceed this, but I think 155 is a good starter goal.
Oh, yeah, and 3) do my daily dose of WEED:
W - Finish drinking my daily 62 oz. (only 35 oz. to go!)
E - I am going to get to the gym this evening and start myself at a brisk walk. This week is walking only - next week, I would like to start C25k (I've done it before, I can do it again!)
E - A bit late in the day for declaring calories, but it's never too late to make a good choice, so I plan to grab a salad for dinner. (I'd cook for myself, but that means I'd have to cook for the ex-husband, too, and frankly I'm kind of done with that!!)
D - I'm going to give myself a big pat on the back for coming back here, and a big kick in the pants to get myself going!!
And thanks, e32, for pointing me here!
