Default Kirstie Alley on People: Yes I Gained 83 pounds

http://omg.yahoo.com/news/kirstie-al...ounds/22171?nc

Yeah! I'm happy she came out with it and is working on losing it.

According tot he article this time she wants to get down to 128 -- that's 100 pounds she is aming to lose. Jenny-free this time. GOOD LUCK TO HER!

There is nothing, nothing, nothing worse than losing a ton of wieght and then gaining it back, I've done it a few times so I know!

I wish her nothing but the best, and regardless of her weight, I think she is pretty slammin' and is a really honest person...

There is NOTHING worse than gaining and losing, except doing it with people watching and taking pictures and writing FAT in magazines!! Ugh, I can't imagine it.

Iagree with you kiramira, she is a very beautiful and funny lady....
But goes to show you that it's just not an easy thing to lose and keep it off.
We need to work hard and keep at it....
Thank you for the article...

Well yeah but that's what they sign up for with the big-bucks commercial weight loss endorsements, IMO. I would never do it! If you make all these "LOOK AT MY DIETING SUCCESS!" ads, people are not going to just stop noticing your body if you start gaining it back! Which could be incentive, or just too much pressure. Too much pressure for me!! I couldn't even stand the WW weigh ins, they messed up my head something fierce.

I wish her all the best (as if she cares what I think), but I have think she's setting herself up for failure by setting her goal weight at 128. Clearly, she's not built to be a skinny waif ... and 128 is pretty darned thin for someone of her height, bone structure, and, yes, age. A goal of 148, her weight on Cheers, seems much more reasonable!

I think she looks fabulous as is. I've always thought she was a beautiful woman regardless of her weight. If she wants to lose the weight, more power to her...but if she doesn't then so be it.

She is lovely. Carries the weight well I thought. I noted in the article she (slightly more) realistically is aiming for 140 (but the number in her head drilled in by the freaking insane studio idiots was 128). I am three inches shorter and aiming for 145 (with muscles). I did figure I might want to rethink that number. But going to wait til I get there. See what that looks like.

She is a beautiful woman.

However, it is my belief that doing any "meal delivery" service will cause you to fail in the long run unless you change your lifestyle and habits. If you can wean yourself off of a diet or delivery service (or whatever) and establish new habits, it will work. But most people look to the DIET ITSELF to solve the issue. Well, guess what? The issue is not the fat itself. It never has been. The issue is the MIND.
