Default BFL - Week 9! Are you ready to push hard for the last month?

YES!! I am.

Won't this be a really cool chance to do everything RIGHT that we learned by doing it wrong the last 8 weeks?

I'm here, but getting on the site has been sketchy lately, so I may be spotty this week. Things are better tho today so I hope it has been resolved.

I'm only on week 3, but week 3 will be my best week yet! I'm really enjoying this program and already feel better about my body. And the frequent meals with carbs & protein have increased my energy level. I am not perfect (who is???), but even in my imperfect following of the program I feel like a winner!

Good luck everybody! Have an awesome BFL week!

I'm on week 6 now, half way through my 12 week challenge... I didn't do as well the last part of last week and the weekend. I was so "on track" even with a trip so I'm going to have to "work" BFL extra hard the last 6 weeks! I'm wanting to lose 8-10 lbs to get back to my 160s again.

I'm on week 9 or 1, depending if I'm counting from the start of BFL or the start of BFL with DH. Speaking of whom, has lost 4 pounds since we decided that he'd do BFL with me. Weasel! Although after seeing those before pictures I took of him last night, 4 is just a drop in the bucket. I swear he was blowing himself up somehow. It should make for a drastic after picture.

Dee, we've seen it all in my dh's belly. I felt the same way too, like any day he was going to just POP like the kid at the wonka factory. Now I'll look at him in the store when he comes walking up to me and just be amazed at how much his belly has shrunk, and he's only on week 8. totally visible difference.

Hi all. I have only a few days left in this challenge. I am really kicking it up a notch and it's funny that I am really liking doing the extra cardio...
I have someone who has done well giving me a few hints like pounding the extra water this week although I am feeling like I am spending an awful lot of time in the washroom..and not eating carbs for my later meals. It will be interesting to see how it affects my outcome.

I am starting another challenge April 6th and I think I will make the extra cardio something I will do on a regular basis. Anybody do that on here? Do you think it makes you more tired and not able to do your weight training?

Have a great day all

Sherry - I was doing extra cardio while training for the 5K earlier in the month. I actually felt better doing the extra cardio. But then, cardio for me is "my time" so I find it generally relaxing. That's not quite the right word. It's more like I felt less stressed in general and I had more energy. I've slacked off since the race, but last night I ran 3.75 miles and it felt great. At least it felt great when it didn't hurt like Hades.

Hey girls, ... I was doing extra cardio before going on vacation too and I felt totally great!! I was running 4 days in a row it was a lot but I did take weekends off. This week I've run 3 days with a rest day in between because while on vacation I fell and pulled a muscle in my hamstring. It's getting better though...Anywhoo, extra cardio and some good weight training ALWAYS helps me

Hi Ladies. I am really liking the way I feel after doing the extra cardio. I think I will keep it up. I am taking a week off between my challenges and I think even if I don't do weight training I will get runs in. I intend to get outside for this challenge as well for my cardio.
I use my Nike + system and iPod for my cardio and love it. I really want to see what I can accomplish this time around..

I take my pictures on Saturday. I feel good about my progress but I have a long ways to go...Progress though ; )

Have a great day all.

Sherry, are you on the BFL Tracker site? If you are, let me know your user name so I can find your pix after this weekend. If not, hope you'll also post them here for us to see.

There's a BFL tracker site? Now I can get rid of my ten zillion spreadsheets and track online! Woo-hoo! I signed up with the same username, so you can look for starting pix tonight.

Yeah Dee, you enter your data on your profile and then it creates a progress report for you. It's very cool!

I've decided to make this Sunday my new start date. Honestly my workouts have been spotty for the last 2 weeks due to illness and injury. Mostly my back, but my chronic sinus problems are being a pain too. So in an effort to rededicate myself to the challenge, I'm starting again. And DH will be doing his wo in the evening, by I NEED to do mine in the morning. These 2 weeks have proven to me that I am without a doubt, an early bird. Off to take new before pictures, I've having trouble finding a spot that I can get a full body shot.
