Default DTG or EDiets for husband?

Hi List Mates,

I'm currently on the 1200 cal. veggie DTG plan and have been satisfied with my weight loss so far. I have a question and need your input. Now that I have lost weight, my husband has decided he wants to take off 20-25 lbs. I'm debating which plan to order for him DTG or Ediets. He is a big eater so I know he would hate the plan I am on. Plus he's not 100% vegetarian as I am. He prefers some meat. Have any of you tried both plans, and if so which would you recommend for a hungry man?

Your suggestions will be sincerely appreciated.

hacamila,
Just my personal opinion now.
The meals on ediet are small in volume..... total calories are 1000 cal and you add in some fruit and milk to get to about 1350.......
If you hubby is active.. he may be a lot happier on the 1600 cal DTG low fat meal..they have full meals in the dinner meals and lots of sandwiches for lunch and a variety of breakfast items.. w fruit snacks..
The only thing I would say having had BOTH ediets and DTG low fat is.. when choosing breakfasts.. stay away from sweet morning foods.. for lots of us it just sets off the hunger and it doesn't stop.. if you start off with a higher protein breakfast it seems to ease you through the day.....
Also take full advantage of free food choices.. i.e. salads or raw veggies added to meals..The extra chew of the salad seems to slow you down in eating your meal and adds to the satiety of the meal without added calories.
Just my take on it.. I am interested to see what others suggest But whichever plan he chooses.. having you both on a meal plan will up the options of success for both of you.......Best of luck to you both.

I am on DTG's low carb plan. It's basically lots of meat and veggies, but the food is really good. And the breakfasts are more filling because it's usually an omelet with sausage or a pork chop with eggs/bacon and veggies. So you won't get any of the sweet breakfasts.

Personally, I haven't tried the low fat, mostly because I'm a picky eater, but a lot of people like it as well. Good luck!
