I feel like I'm taking a double hit here.
I am down to less than 5 cigarettes a week. Which is good. I'm not sure if it has really slowed down my metabolism all that much but boy my clothes are getting tight. It sucks.
Also... I've injured my back and am getting physiotherapy every week. It feels like I've cut back to absolutely nothing for activities because before my back troubles I was working out several times a week including soccer a few times. I know what I need to do. Work out low intensity and keep up with some good eating habits, it just seems that I'm behind the eight ball once again and I'm a little discouraged.

What you can't change: Where you are now.

What you CAN change: What you do going forward.

Being discouraged won't move you toward your goals, unless you use that feeling to power you forward. So go forth! You can get back on track and you know what to do.

i have to agree with her. Every one has their moments. mine? That my twin sister is losing WAY more weight then me, and when she slips up, they never show where as mine shows in my gut. lol.

Its just how you use that discouragement to you're own advantage. The road to success is a long and hard one, but once you get there it will all be worth it.

We're ALL here for you.

I know how you feel.. I just had three weeks of insaneness and I went off my plan bad and did not exercise... I felt down..

but much like mandalinn said what CAN YOU do????!!!

I know with a sore back that makes thing more difficult.. but even focusing on something like building or toning your arms muscles or your shoulders.. or your legs will get you at least moving those parts of your body but giving your midsection like back and abs a break so your back can heal. doing something simple as doing a few reps of arm curls with a water bottle or holding a can of soup if you don't have weights will help you build your strength!

Also make sure your getting plenty of sleep and try not to stress too much because those things can hinder your weight loss.. also try and drink the recommended amount of water daily!

Oh and GREAT job on cutting back on the smokes! before you know it you'll be off them completely!

good luck things will get better!

Love,
Maria
