Sorry to hear about the gain. You're not alone. I lost over 100 pounds and gained 23 back. To lose the weight once is a tremendous accomplishment. You can lose those pounds again. This time it's less than half of what you did before. Be encouraged! You can do it.

Sorry about your regain . . . you're definitely not alone! I lost about 80 lbs a few years ago and gained it all back . . . so good for you for taking control again relatively quickly.

You are so not alone. I lost over 100 lbs in 1999-2000 then 50 more in 2003 then gained it all back PLUS some by 2007. Here I am, doing it again--but permanently this time. I finally figured out several things, including the fact that food is neither a punishment or a reward ~ it's just food ~ and the only power it has over me is the power I give away to it, and I refuse to give any power to food. Best of luck to you ~ you'll do great!!!

You can definitely do it!!! You lost the weight once so you know you can do it again. Look back at the things happening in your life when the re-gain started and how you dealt with it and have a plan of action this time on how to combat it. This is definitely a journey for all of us and we all know that you have to sometimes fight to keep the weight off. Best of luck to you!

back! I have been there and done that several times myself. The important thing is you are not allowing it to beat you and you came back. It is a life long learning process.

sorry about the gain, but looking at the silver lining - it was 48 lbs, and NOT the full 100... or 110... you're still DOWN over 50 lbs, so that's a good thing!!

and yes we're still here I don't know about the rest of you, but even if I weight 110 lbs (ha, yah that's happening) I'll STILL be here !!!
