Default White Spot

For the western Canadians out there - I went out to eat yesterday at White Spot, and I just wanted to mention that they have a section of their menu devoted to healthy foods. They even list calories/fat etc. And the items have normal names, so you dont have to be obvious about it or be making a whole bunch of modifications. You can order the "seafood fusilli" and get a bowl full of whole wheat pasta, veggies, prawns and scallops in a modest amount of yummy tomato sauce for 600 calories. It was delicious and filling, and I went home feeling successful.

I am going there tonight! I think actually only the BC chicks will know this place as I don't think there are any locations anywhere else in canada.

Although I totally should have one of their healty choices....I am having the Legendary Burger. I love that bloody burger and I have been absolutely perfect all week with not one slip up so I figure I deserve at least one meal. I heard it's about 800 calories..yikes!

How nice! I don't understand why restaurants think that healthy food has to sound unappealling. I don't want to eat something called "skinny chicken" (an actual item I've seen on a menu).
