Thumbs up Binge-free challenge ~ Feb. 9 - 15

Good Monday morning! Let's make it a binge-free week. All are welcome.

As for me - it's day 6 today. I am not looking forward to the end of this week. So many temptations ... two birthday parties, Valentine's Day, cupcakes at school for my son's birthday ...

One day at a time, right?

Yes one day at a time. That works for me as long as I stay aware. Yesterday was another good day. I didn't binge and also stayed within my calorie limits. So that's three days for me. I do have those times I'm not hungry but want something in my mouth and carrot sticks work for me...also splenda sweetened pickles. Almost zip calories there and it calms the munching impulse while filling the belly too.

I'm in, just a couple of days binge free but planning on a good week, met a mini-goal and weighed in at 173 today!!!
Wardhog, what's you plan for avoiding temptation? taking some veggies along to snack on?
But do plan a lovely valentines dinner with your DH, it doesn't have to be overdone!

Have a good week everyone

My boyfriend brought my home kfc mashed potatoes last night... it was a sweet gesture considering I've beencraving mashed potatoes for a couple days now but it was also 9 at night. I didn't cave. So +1 courtney, 0 kfc.

Hopefully no binging today either!

Ok, I'm in! No 'pigging out' all week! I am having a nice dinner with family - so I should be content and not craving later tonight!

Hmmm, not great. I didn't totally 'binge out' but I did eat after dinner when I wasn't hungry and I KNOW I shouldn't have. Sooo, I am not beating myself up and am better focused now.

I failed the first night. I didn't eat enough during the day, and I made up for it at night. I had two yogurts w/ granola and a ton of cereal after that. Stupid carbs. I know that if I just eat more during the day, I won't screw up so much at night. But I've been caught in the binge/starve cycle for so long that it's so hard to break free. What's that saying, insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result?

I am NOT having problems with staying on plan right now. I am having some allergic reactions to something, but don't know what so am doing a food diary to try to figure it out.
My eyes are all swollen and feel heavy.
blah.

I'm going to go for it too, have been off track for a while and feeling lousy because of it! I got alot of things coming up too and with church we always have goodies... I'll just have to try to stay clear!

I missed checking in on Monday - but I'm in for the rest of the week. Definitely motivated because we're going to try a new restaurant with friends on Sunday, and I have vowed to just relax and enjoy the night. It will be far easier to do that if I behave myself this week! Fortunately, the restaurant has an online menu and I can plan my attack!

Well I did good all day but the dreaded evening came (prime binge time) and I thought a piece of rye with margarine wouldn't hurt but then I quickly had about a half a loaf and topped it off with pound cake. So I'm contrite and more focused today. Someone needs to watch me tonite! I guess that would be me!
