Morning girls,
How is everyone doing? Fantastic I hope. Well my week as been good so far. I have weigh in tomorrow. I know at the end of last month I had gained weight because of TOM and being sick. I GAINED 5 lbs. That made me very disappointed. I was pretty much back at where I started from day 1 of Jan. but I kicked into gear this month. I'm hoping to see some good results this week and the month. Good job girls and good luck!!

I don't know what is going on with me but last night my little friend came a calling again. I just finished TOM last week. I finished on Wed. 28th. This has never happened to me before. But I have all the symptoms..bloating & cramps. The scale was up 1 lb this morning but hopefully that will go away by weigh in. Think I might call the dr on Monday if this turns out to be a full blown TOM.
I'm doing well with my eating averaged 1300-1500 all week. Worked out 4 days so far this week. I was hoping to post a good loss but at this point I will be happy with any loss.

hey ladies!

this has been a very challenging week for me and in normal circumstances i would be writing to tell you about all of the crap i have eaten.
but 2009 is a new year for me and i have a new mindset so i have managed to stay OP. i am so proud of myself. and even though the pesky scale has climbed back up a pound or so for no apparent reason i am sure i will contribute to this weeks weigh in again.

i hope that all of you are rebounding from what seemed like a trying week for a lot of our teammates. lets do our best over this weekend to make sure we post a great weigh in for our team and continue our journey of success!

Bejeweled you are so darn cute and uplifting. I just blew up at a person in my office. And I thought forget the gym I'm going and having a pizza. (Notice I didn't say a slice) But nope I'm going to the gym and working out my frustrations! Thanks girl.

I get on the scales at 10:00a.m. in the morning with the biggest loser contest I have joined here in our community. I feel everything is O.K. I am really excited. I have to really be careful on the weekends! What is it about the weekends?

Congrats Denise on reaching the 65 lb milestone. That is amazing.

The weather is beautiful here. I ran outside at the Y today. I managed to get in 2.25 miles. It felt great.

Morning everyone! I'm happy it's Saturday and I weighed in at a bit of a loss this morning which is fantastic. I'm down 5 lbs in the new year, much less than I hoped but perfectly acceptable. I will have to hit the office this weekend but I'm planning on tomorrow afternoon so I'm going to enjoy this day.

Planning a run in a few hours, everything here is coated in ice so it will be a treadmill session, 5 miles at least. I haven't run since Sunday because like a lot of us, my week was nuts. Today's run will be hard, and I don't have an off day until Tuesday so I may be bellyaching about sore muscles soon.

I'm dying to see a new decade. Come to me, 150's.

Morning Heather

bejeweled, congrats on being this week's BL, but even better, congrats on being OP! I'll do my best for my team this weekend.

Judy, I'm so sorry to hear that. hope things are going well for you.

Abby, so glad you're ok and still in the game with us. Everyone's given you a lot of great ideas and trust me, if you guys are going to Vegas there's no risk of being bored or running out of things to do. You lucky girl!

DJ, WOW, 80 lbs lost! I'm so thrilled for you, and I know you must be so proud!

river, feel free to run and complain all you want!

I'm also excited to see all of the Zumba love going on.

Institches21, I'm right there with you. Ladies, I need help! The scale is going UP this week and I'm not sure why. I can't seem to keep the scale in the 150's. I'm taking today to take a good hard look at my eating plan and getting real about what I need to do to start losing weight again! I'm thinking of going back on Core. My calories are ok, but my carbs and lack of quality eating is out of control.

I can work out all day every day with no problems. I used to be so good at the diet portion of losing weight and the exercise was beyond me. It's like I can't focus on one thing without the other going out the window. Anyway, I've got to learn how to find balance. Fitday isn't doing it for me lately. Maybe I need more structure.

Jennifer, I struggle with the same issues as you. It's hard to find balance between diet and exercise, so I keep repeating this mantra - abs are made in the kitchen. That tends to fly out the window when I see a Corona light in the fridge and I have had a hard day. I no longer keep champagne in the fridge because I can't resist it, so I have to get those beer out of there too.

I know that my food content is the reason why I haven't seen more change, because like you, my calories are OK. I stopped using fitday last month and switched to the daily plate. I find it a lot better, although I am careful to make sure that the nutrient analysis makes sense, because there is a lot entered that doesn't. Even with that said, there is still a much more comprehensive data base on that site than fitday.

Awww VegGirl I hate to heat you are struggling too. but I know you can get back on track. The thing that helps me the most when I go astray is to go back to the very basics. That is a firm daily plan. Very basic, simple foods that I don't have to put a lot of thought into and I repeat the plan for several days. It doesn't provide for variety so I don't know if it would work for everyone...but it does give me effortless structure. Kind of a food bootcamp til I start feeling better about my food and want to eat good food again. It works for me...but I'm kinda wierd about the structure thing.

Run river Run!

disgruntled-good for you on ditching the Pizza plan! Hurting yourself isn't going to bother a rude coworker a bit...

Run TERAPET Run!

bejeweled-you have been doing FANTASTIC! 2009 is indeed your year and it is looking good on you! Keep up the good work!

Sunday is my normal weigh in day...but...I weighed in early this week...2 lbs. gone! YAY!

I plan to go off plan (I know...again) today and I want to have the week to make sure it doesn't affect the scale trend. my daughter is making breakfast in bed for me. (I'll have to jump back in bed and pretend to be asleep when she gets up!) Then some friends are taking me out for lunch and shopping with the girls them we will meet up with the guys and go to the casino's for a little fun, drinking and dinner. My birthday is not a day that I am going to watch everything that goes in my mouth. This is one of the days that I work so hard all of the other days to enjoy!

Hope everyone has a great OP day!

HAPPY B-DAY DJAY!!

I'm happy with my progress today. Since I had a freebie last wk and had gained 5 lbs with being sick and TOM. I have lost 2.4 lbs of the 5 lbs. Slow but steady which is the way I want it. I hope to lose another 1-2 lbs next wk.
