I saw that earlier today, it's such a shame the kind of scams these companies come up with to trick people with problems out of money.
My boyfriend and I were discussing it, and we decided that the whole "low fat" craze is not actually due to misinformation, but that it's most likely a scam. Think about it... if people actually believe they can lose weight eating low fat foods, they'll be more willing to buy more of them, at a high price.
I think it's the food companies way of hiding the truth, that if we all were really doing the right thing to lose weight and keep it off, we would be buying much less of their food.
Anyway, sorry, I've been wanting to rant about that for a while.
