Default Daily Treadmill Workouts

I am looking for people who are interested in posting regularly about our workouts on the treadmill. Maybe we can motivate each other and cheer each other on. Anyone interested? I workout on my treadmill 4 days a week and would love to have talk to others. I have lots of weight to lose so I will be here for awhile.

I don't have a treadmill but i have an elliptical. I could talk about how long i did my workout, how many miles i went, how often and how long i revved up my high intensity, and so forth if you don't get anyone else with a treadmill wanting to join.

Mercee-I'll join ya. I used to spend an average of 30-60 minutes running on the treadmill every other day. But then ended up preggers so that slowly went to the down the tubes. I've now delivered and am ready to get back into the swing of things. I have to start slowly, but hopefully in no time I'll be back in my prepregnancy exercising form.

Today-25 minutes

Good afternoon Mercee and Dream. Mercee...my goal is to work out on the elliptical 30 minutes 5-6 days a week. I hope to increase my resistance one notch a week. I missed working out this weekend because i was sick...so this morning i woke up feeling better and put in 13 minutes on the elliptical before work. Tonight my plan is to do a cardio class (at home) and weight lifting. I may have to try to get my 30 minutes in every other morning on the elliptical since i am incorporating my cardio class and weight lifting into my program. But this morning was half a mile on easy.

Welcome Lumifan4ever:

Great job. I am hoping to increase my workouts from 30 mins to 45 mins starting this weekend. Sometimes I wish I could workout before work, but hey at least I'm doing it in the evenings. I am still working out at a low level and I also hope to increase that soon. Have a great day.

Hey! I'll join!

Aside from my other exercise (30-day shred, speed walking 6 days weekly), I have started 20-min fast running on the treadmill Monday to Friday. I started last week. I forgot how much I love running on the treadmill!

I did it Monday, and I did it again today. It was a bit harder today, but I still did it. At about 14:30 minutes I said to myself, "it's only, you only have to do 15 min if you want to today". Then the next time I looked it was 17 minutes and I thought, oh come on, 3 more minutes!! yay! helps that I have new inspiring music too!

Hi!

I walk on my treadmill 5-6 days a week. I hold onto the railings since I have a balance problem but I'm hoping to improve my balance by doing short one minute sessions during my routine and not hold onto the railings.

Great idea to keep motivating us Treadmill Chicks!

yay!! so proud of myself. Thought I wouldn't have time to do it tonight, and was already feeling guilty and bad, and then I just went and DID IT. I can just stay later at work (did it on my break, although I already took an hour break ha ha ha).

Yay! so proud of myself!

I'm in! I have a bum knee and I live in a busy traffic area where the sidewalks aren't maintained. So, the treadmill at the gym is my friend - albeit a long-lost friend as of late.

I'm in!

My routine is 4-5 days/wk 60 min. Various speeds and inclines so my body doesn't get complacent.
