Question HELP Needed: Healthy Super Bowl Food Required!

My DH & sons want super bowl food this Sunday! This will be a first for me as my Dad was not into football. But the boys are old enough to appreciate the festive party. So where do I start? The conditions that I placed was that it had to be healthy options. Googgled it and not sure what recipes to trust! But I trust yall! Thanks in advance for your advice!

I imagine you want snacky food?

How about veggies with hummus? carrots, celery, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. You can even have some baked pita chips as well.

Uhh yeah thats all I got, I don't entertain/do parties so I'm not good at that type of thing.

I don't know what kinds of things other people do, but we always do a turkey chilli for the superbowl...you could eat it alone, or put it on stuff, or use it as dip. To me chilli is very football-ish.

HG ROCKS!!!! those low fat pigs in a blanket are definitely a winner for the super bowl. i also suggest making your own spinach dip! i make it with fat free cream cheese, frozen spinach, onion, parmesan cheese, and fresh mozzarella. very easy to throw together and you can control how much cheese goes into it so it won't be so bad!

You could make a yummy spicy bean dip. Healthy chili dogs. Fruit kabobs with yummy sweet yogurt dip.

off plan days are fine- necessary even sometimes! Just don't use it as an excuse to eat everything in sight before the day is over. remember how far you've come and eat things you enjoy but stop when you don't enjoy it anymore!

that's kind of a reminder for everybody including me! parties are sometime really hard for me but i just keep thinking about how far i've come! and now parties are more about spending time with my friends that what food is there...

have great super bowl parties everybody!
