Default have you eaten anything with peanut butter recently?

be careful- there has been a big recall! I'm sure most people know- but I just realized the severity of the peanut butter recall by going to the FDA website sooooo many things with peanut butter in them have been recalled off the bat I noticed the lara bars, clif bars ,and nutrisystem bars! and even some items form trader joes.. I know there are a lot of people on this forum who eat those things! be careful for salmonella

I have had peanut butter out of the jar, right now they are saying that is safe. Hard to tell what they will add tomorrow.

yeah that's why I went and checked to see if the brand of peanut butter out of the jar was added! thankfully just the regular old peanut butter is not a threat as of now..

but I also had a few off those nutter butter 100 calorie packs! so I wanted to see if those were affected!

I grind my own at the health food store. No problem then!

Yes - I continue to eat my South Beach, Balance and Kashi bars - all are safe (peanuts from other sources than PCA). My peanut butter is freshly ground at my local health food store.

I can't think of anything I eat with PB "in" it. And I read that actual PB in jars is fine.

yup PB in jars is ok and fresh ground peanuts butter is fine too... it's products with PB in it like cookies, bars, crackers, cerreal, etc. even dog food and dog treats have Pb in it! and they have also been recalled

I make my own nut butters. I ate the peter pan with the bar code that apparently had salmonella, and I also ate spinach and tomatos during the e coli outbreak. I live on the edge.
