and the name will be...
Xanthia Rose!
it's a pretty and unique name (Rose is my middle name) and when i found it DH and i both fell in love with it and with all the other names we liked, we still kept coming back to this one. so as long as we don't tire of this name before April, that's what our little girl will be named.
we do have a back up if indeed we do change our minds. but i don't see that happening.
it's a tough name for Jag to say..he doesn't really even attempt it, he just calls her "baby" but Julia can say it quite well.

OMG!!!
I wanted to name my daughter Santhia Kathleen when she was born. I love the name you chose. Is it pronounced the same way?
By the way, she ended up being a Christie Melissa.
gotta run!!!!

Aww-I think it's great that you and DH found a name you both love. I have to admit I wasn't sure how to pronounce, but it is a beautiful name!

Wow - great that you've got that part figured out.....I hear this can be a tough decision for parents to agree on!
I had to look up the name to see what it meant...it's Greek and means yellow...so that's cool- "Xanthia" (Yellow) Rose!

How sweet! And it means yellow which definitely reflects lemons. Hope she is your little sunshine girl.

so i think we found another name that we're seriously considering for the baby..i'd love to hear opinions..
Elliott Rose or Elliott Eileen or Elliot Julia (for my DD)
i know it's traditionally a male name, but i really like it. i'm sure she'd get called Ellie for short.
whaddya think?
