I'm looking for interesting, unique, cool, non-electronic, experiential, romantic gift ideas that can be applied to the man in my life. My husband feels loved when I give him gifts, and he's always enjoyed Valentine's Day more than I do--he's fairly sentimental. (And I'm not much for gift expressions of romance.) So I want to make him feel loved this year. Ideas?
If I am in a better money situation at valentines day I would love to buy my boyfriend a nice size giftcard to use for Cornwell, snap on etc tools. He is a diesel mechanic so tools to him are like computers to office people, and I think he gets sort of excited to buy tools.
my dh also has a valentines day birthday. which means- we do his bday and not valentines day. oh well- never much into that holiday anyway.
i always get him a little candy or something though.
maybe make him a tasty (healthy) dinner? i always liked the idea of a love coupon book- you know good for one massage, good for one whatever
and of course- the gift EZ thinks he's getting is always a good one. can never go wrong with that!
It's a surprise, but I booked an evening of dog-sledding in the mountains for us. It includes a dinner cooked under the stars as well. Don't tell but I used my visa points to book us a hotel for the night as well. I can't wait!

Reason: typo
My husbands birthday is in less than 2 weeks and he doesn't want anything but it'd be nice to give him a little something. We don't do valentine's and generally we don't exchange gifts. I did buy him a couple movies (that weren't on sale! gasp!) for Christmas. He already thinks he has too much stuff.
