I really haven't planned any gigs but i tend to go to a Drum n Bass party in my city called BreakFast with decent DnB DJ's. (Noisia is kind of obligatory there because their origins are here.)
Bands I have seen live in the past, in no particular order: Masterkraft, Noisia, Eels, Hooverphonic, Therion, Lacuna Coil, JBO, Korpiklaani, The Dwarves, Children of Bodom, Rapalje.

I plan on surprising my sister with tickets to Spamalot and maybe Wicked too while they're both on tour in March for her 18th birthday. Voltaire was supposed to go to Jacksonville but the venue he was going to play at closed down, so I'm waiting for him to reschedule so I can go.

I saw Iron Maiden this year - my favourite gig of all. It was awesome. Next year I'm hoping to see Nine Inch Nails when Trent comes down in february.

We did have tickets to Jam Cruise - leaves next week - but I had to sell them b/c my DF got laid off.
Am I the only hippie on this board??

Not many bands I listen to tour the U.S, so my show-going is very limited. I am attending, however, a local show & get-together January 2nd.

I used to be a show ho but since moving to Korea, that's all down the toilet. Let's see if I can remember:
The Go Team & CSS
The Black Angels
Clinic & Shearwater
Beirut
Ladytron & Datarock
Jay Reatard
Caribou
Ugh, memory is not serving me well. I'm sure at least 4-5 more shows.
Next to nothing comes to Korea. Jens Lekman came to Seoul but would've been expensive to travel there and pay for the tickets so we skipped it. DJ Shadow came too but we were too tired and also a lot of people said it sucked. My 2009 concert calendar is blank.
aml, Leslie & the Lys--rad!

Are you seeing Metallica in Sheffield? I got tickets for my son and his GF for Christmas and they're really looking forward to it.
