Hi from the midwest! I'm new to the 3fc forum but not new to weight loss. Turned 30 this year, two young boys, full time job and finally decided to take a little time and energy to focus on me. Joined WW almost two months ago with great results so far... I've added exercise the last two weeks to keep up the weight loss pace. I find that I am usually great with the motivation for a while and once I lose that, I go back to all my bad habits and old ways. So... I'm looking for more support and am very happy to have found this particular group. Just scanning through, I feel like I can relate to alot of the barriers others have expressed to reaching their goal. Again, excited to be here and looking forward to providing support as well as receiving it!!

Hey doubledetermined! I am so glad you have found us. There is support here and some very thorough answers. All is discussed here from unsupportive spouses to brazilian waxes. If it remotely has anything to do with weight (and sometimes even if it doesn't ) it is discussed. Don't be bashful. Hop on the train and enjoy the ride! Welcome!

Thanks thighs be gone, Kim K and LBH! It's a gloomy day here in the Midwest and the leftover christmas candy, cookies and other goodies are calling my name. I jumped on the computer instead of giving in to the temptation! It's great to have this forum as a backup plan! Thanks again for the warm welcome.

Thanks LBH. I suppose the very best response to the cravings would have been to go do something active.... but who's perfect! I'm really enjoying reading post and participating in chats. I am going to share this site with my WW group on Tuesday. It's kind of an odd thing to be excited for "weigh in" day! Thanks again for the support

thanks mjs and willow! This forum is a welcomed retreat from the craziness of my day. right now my Hubby is watching Lord of the rings... disk 3 of like 6 or 7... I lose count.
