Default Thanksgiving Day (near) Cooking Disaster

While making the pumkin pies for tonight's dinner, I noticed a slight error. The pies are in the oven for the first 15minutes, I'm doing cutouts from the extra crust for decorations. I look to the side and noticed I didnt mix the dry ingredients into pie #2. WHOOPS!!!!!

Out of the oven comes pie#2. I try to mix the ingedients in the shell, not working. I poured the pumpkin mix back into the bowl, quick mix, back into the shell. Now in the oven for the remaining 45minutes.

I think and hope I've avoided disaster!

LOL, I forgot the milk in my pie. It was already in the oven for 25 min and too late to add...I took a little taste and the consistancy is OK but this particular recipe called for 2 T of Rum and it's now WAY to strong for my taste. Oh well, I'll save calories not eating sweet potato pie!
