I posted a hello to the forum, but also wanted to post to the 300+! I just joined the forum today and hope to not only learn and be inspired by all of you but hope I can give the same back. I am recently weighed in last week at 446lbs. I am desperately looking for the help and motivation to keep me going on this long journey I have ahead. I joined WW last week and I have been doing great so far. I have never been as motivated as I am now. When I stepped on that scale last Thursday I had to hold back the tears. I had no idea I had let myself get this heavy.

erinkman- HI and welcome!!! feel free to join us on the weekly thread. We are a chatty group of ladies . I have made wonderful friends here and couldnt imagine trying to do this alone!!
The one thing I've thought over the years is that within a couple of weeks of being over 330-lbs (the highest the old scale went) I should have gone out and bought a new one. It's a dangerous place to be... just a little over. I was more than 70 pounds over before I dared to step on a scale that gave me a real weight. The good thing is that it motivated me to do something about it.
Hello and to the 300+ boards and 3fc. I know how you felt stepping on those scales and hearing your weight for the first time in a long while. I remember doing the same some 20 months go prior to that I had avoid the scales like the plague.

Thank you all for the wonderful welcome! I have been loving reading all these success stories and seeing the transformation pictures!! I make sure to read them daily to keep me going! I had my 1st weigh in last Wed. and was happy to see I had lost 8lbs.
Congrats! You're off to a great start. This really is the very best place for support, I've met some amazing people who are my closest friends now. If you ever wanna chat let me know!
