Default Pb2

Can I have some feedback on PB2, regular and chocolate? I just read about it here and on the website. It looks interesting as I'm a peanutbutter lover too. Is it tasty enough to pass for real peanutbutter? Any problems with ordering?

Thanks,

Hi Mona!
I just ordered PB2 from Bell Plantations for the first time, and it was shipped rapidly and arrived pretty swiftly. It really is just powdered roasted peanuts with the oil pressed out, plus a hint of salt and sugar. It mixes with water, and it is a much thinner consistancy than traditional peanut butter. BUT- mixed into other things (vanilla yogurt, oatmeal, on french toast, into the jelly on a Joseph's pita) and OH MY! It is 1/4 the calories of regular PB, and is high in protein. For me, it is soooo worth the cost, as I do not often eat PB "straight". Not as good for a PB "on a spoon" lover. Hope that this review helps!

PB2 is fabulous!

I first tried it out ealier this year and love it! Circebee is right: It is so amazing to mix in with so many things (personally, I just love it with my oatmeal and some flax seed for breakfast) and it's great for cooking too!

I absolutely love PB so this has been a great calorie-reduced alternative for me. I will admit, it is just not quite the same as real PB but for the benefits, I am sticking with it!

I highly reccommend trying it! I don't know of anywhere around me that I can buy from so I just order direct from the website. But I know Bell Plantation has a money back guarantee if you don't like it ... but you will.

I love it. I especially love the chocolate one. My grocery store carries them, so I have no experience with buying them online, sorry. ...definitely worth trying them though!!! I even convinced people at work to try them.

I really like both PB2s. They do have a nice peanut flavor, but be ready for the 'mouth feel' to be different, since it is defatted.

These are great to mix into things as well. I have 4 jars, and I definitely will order more when these are gone.

I use the PB2 chocolate version mostly on rice cakes, celery and mixed with oatmeal. Luckily we have two stores here in Dallas that carry it so I dont have to order online-but it is cheaper online than in the stores!

I didn't have enough calories left today for my usual apple w/ peanut butter tonight so I had an apple with PB2. It wasn't completely the same, but was still very good. I will continue to use it and experiment with it. I haven't tried the chocolate yet. I ordered the 4 pack online. I've left one of each at work and everyone's been passing it around trying it out. Then I have one of each at home.
