Default Carnie Wilson's new weightloss with YOGA??

So I saw very quickly yesterday on a tv commercial that Carnie Wilson has lost over 40 pounds by doing YOGA? She is newly pregnant again also. The news person quickly stated that she had been doing a person's certain yoga class? It was a man's name?? Does anyone happen to know? I did try to find in on the net but with no luck.

Brilliant, you are! I am sure that is who they said. The first two names they said quickly...but the Page was clear..I am pretty sure that is the name the announcer said. Thanks so much! I have never heard of him?

He wrote a book called Yoga for Regular Guys. Not that women couldn't use it too . He's from the world of pro wrestling. The book is aimed at making yoga "cool" for guys, so it's got lots of pictures of skimpily clad "yoga babes." So, forewarned It's focused on making yoga into a more aerobic and strengthening kind of workout. I haven't actually done it, but I looked through the book. I think it's a decent approach, but it will be challenging!

Default I am impressed!

Just spent over an hour reading his website. I think I will order the 50+ pounds DVD workout. I read a preview of his book where he goes into detail about proper breathing..makes perfect sense to me.

Maybe I finally found my niche for exercise?

Hey,

that name Diamond Dallas Page rings a bell - I remember another thread here with this heartrending video about a guy who changed his life with the Regular Guy method... just though y'all might be interested.

My boyfriend and his best friend do the Yoga for Regular Guys workout. It's fun, and it's kind of funny to watch them.

I saw a video of Arthur about a week ago through a link on Facebook but did not realize he was following a specific yoga program.

Skinny4Baby, I went to the site and found a set of videos for beginner / intermediate level, but not something specifically for those with 50 lbs. or more to lose ... am I missing something?

Since skinny4baby posted that 4 years ago, the DVDs may have changed.

I personally like yoga and incorporate it when I can. It can be a great strength burner and can get your heart rate up.

I looked on the site also and that DVD is not there. I bought mine on ebay. It's a 2 DVD set the guy sold out of them the day the video was on GOOD MORNING AMERICA. I bought one but i wasn't able to do it because I have bad knees and can't kneel down on the floor.

I watched a movie on netflix called Enlighten Up! and they show DDP briefly... I'm not sure if it's just how it's edited but he says the main reason he does yoga is for the T&A lol... for some reason after seeing that I can't see myself getting into these workouts ... and I should want them since I was a fan of DDP when he was a wrestler and I've been really getting into yoga the last few months.

Can you kneel on a cushion or modify so you don't have to kneel?
