Starting the 30 day shred tonight. Was at Wal-Mart last night and noticed it was less the 10 bucks so I said, "Why not???" So...any newbies want to ride with me?
I went to Wal-Mart, no DVD ... then I went to Zellers, no 30-Day Shred DVD , BUT, they did have the BL Workout "Cardio Max" w. the same structure as Shred (3 lvls & max results prog.) ... so please, pretty please , can I still join ladies???
Hey, I just got the DVD today, so I'm going to start even though I'll be a day behind. :3 Are we keeping track here, or is there another thread somewhere?
Edit: I just did the my first day. It's a very good workout. I'm a bit afraid to see what level 3 is like!

I didn't take into account the jumping jacks. My knees won't stand up to that many jumping jacks. I know Jillian says no modification, but I have knee problems from a car wreck in 2006. Since I'm already doing the C25K with additional cardio on my off days, I think I'm just going to march in place. I'll be calling my Physical Therapist tomorrow to see if they can suggest an alternative. It's funny that the running (on a cushioned treadmill, not asphalt) doesn't bother my knees, but Day 1 with the jumping jacks and I'm wearing my knee brace again. I think it's not the jumping, but the landing.
I just finished my 2nd workout (Phase I)- my legs & butt were sooo tight yesterday, I think that the stretches today have make it all better
Dee - on my BL video (Cardio Max), Bob suggested that if you can't do the jumping jacks, then to keep moving your arms, and alternate legs to the side out & in ("just keep moving + eventually you may be able to do the jj's") ... Hope this helps

Dee, since Jillian isn't in person with each of us, I think you are ok to modify due to injury! Hurting yourself wouldn't help at all.
Did Day 3 this morning. I don't know if it was getting up 30minutes earlier than usual or the "day 3"ness of it, but I was pathetic this morning! Totally phoned it in, but at least I got up and did it at all.
