Arrow Bored at Work?

Thank God for 3FC.
I am so bored at work and this website saves my life when I am at work.
I just wonder if I am the only one. And if not I would like to know if you guys have any other website (related or not to weight loss) where you go when bored at your job.
Thanks

I work in HR so, I often go to a couple of HR boards. Probably wouldn't work if you weren't in my industry, though...

3fc crashes at my work. boooo. i flip thru my igoogle page a lot, various webcomics, and news pages. we were all told though we are not allowed to look at the internet at all- and we're not allowed to email anymore.
one more reason i just looove my job. i mean, c'mon - with all that freaking mandatory overtime i've got to let my mind wander once in a while or i will go insane.

Blocked? I thought the new marketing "thing" was for companies to have their own social networking pages.

I wish. Not everyone works in a big corporation. Like me, I work at this place that had cut the drinking water to save $$$. ok, now I can bring water from home... but I just hope they don't cut the Internet... It will be too much to handle...
I am trying to get a new job, but with this economy there are not many available and when it is, there are so many people applying. It is ridiculous...
Bad times!!! Wish it will be gone soon...

I believe that is illegal and against health dept. regulations. Even if it's not, it's just plain wrong.

I think she might be talking about bottled water deliveries, not cutting of the flow of water from the tap.

I surf a lot at work, but then I'm the boss, so I don't get in trouble. Technically I'm the employee, too. There you go. No problems here.

I used to work for a big corporation and the IT department tried in vain to keep all the employees from surfing the web. It succeeded very little. But I understand where they're coming from--if you're at work, you are paid to work, not to surf the web!

That said, here I am at work, surfing the web. But I own the place. I also have two employees who often surf the web. One does it only when she has no work left on her desk. The other does it in the morning as he's getting ready for the day. I don't have a problem with either of them as they are still getting their work done. Personally, I only surf when there's nothing to do. I quit as soon as something pops up.

I'm the same way. Only when everything is done and I stop when something comes up. Work first!

i don't actually take breaks- i get up and go to the bathroom when needed or get ice for my water- otherwise me "break" is just clearing my head for a few moments by looking at something online. I certainly don't spend hours doing it. There are people I work with that DO though. I don't know how they get their work done.
I AM however having a hard time not emailing people.

Yes, in addition to 3FC, I do have another website that I quickly check when I can but it has nothing to do with being bored at work. I am so busy that I often don't have time to go to the washroom. I could stay at work til 7pm each day and I still would not be finished. My job definitely keeps me hoppin' at a pretty fast pace all day although there is very little of physical hopping involved.
