Default Slim in Six Challenging myself!

Well, I started SIS yesterday and got thru 20 minutes tehn couldn't take anymore layed down on the floor and crashed! ugh. well, I am about to try again- we'll see what happens!

So, today is day 2 here I go!

Anyone else wanna join in feel free!!! I am going to use this as well as my exercise challenge in the SBD forum to post my work!

30 days till my wedding!


8/27- 20 minutes, then crashed!
8/28-got it done with the exception of resistance bands... mine weren't long enough
8/29-rest day
8/30- rest day(bad excuse- I wanted to but worked all day then we had company till 11)
8/31-nothing!
9/1-blah blah blah.. laziness
9/2- gym 45 minutes incorporating some SIS moves- I get soooo bored with the videos!
9/3-rest
9/4-13hr work day-but worked very hard lol no excuses.
9/5-1hr @ gym

I don't have SI6 but I am considering it. Besides, I am attending a wedding in October and I need to look like a milliond dollar. Therefore, if you don't mind I will join your challenge. Right now, I am doing the 30 day shred which is a 27 min. workout and it has 3 levels. the way I understand it, it is similar to SI6 in the sense that it uses lighter weights with more reps.

I don't have a digital camera but if I had I would have taken photos to measure the progress. I have taken tape measurements, but I am an idiot in that territory

Hi Welcome to the challenge! Good luck! I haven't heard of that, but it sure sounds like it may be the same... I wish the SIS vids were only 27 minutes!!! LOL The first one is 52 minutes...

hey, do you know if any of the si6 dvds do NOT use weights. i dont like it when they mix cardio and weights because i do my own weights thing but i want new cardio things to do....let me know if you could thanks!
i think turbo jam is like that too grrr!

Well it looks like no one's been on this thread in a while, but I'm still going to post something. I bought the slim n 6 DVD's over a year ago and the first one is only 25 min's long. But it kicks my butt! I've never had an exercise DVD actually work so well. Inch's were just vanishing really fast. The first one doesn't use any weights at all. The second one uses the resistance bands and I've no idea what the 3rd one does, because I've never gotten that far, lol! But it does kick butt. Well worth the price.

I am starting SI6 tonight! I have had the DVDs for about 5 years. I visited their website and they are exactly the same as they were then.

I know the program says that you have to stick to their diet plan, but I have already dedicated myself to my own plan and it's been working for the last week. I am entering my second week of my plan.

If you girls are doing this program, I'd be happy to join along and see where we end up!

Lilly-I am so glad you have said this works, I really hope to see results!

I have Slim in 6 as well. I don't currently do it, but have considered starting it. Maybe this thread is a sign I should, lol. I'm going to commit to doing it 2 days a week, then my elliptical the other 2 days. I have been doing the Ab workout with it that's 12 min. It really works!!!

Awesome Erynn, I have been looking for an ab workout that really shows results.

I also have an elliptical! I have been trying to figure out how to incorporate it with the SI6 because that DVD's say 6 days a week is optimal, and I don't want to do too much because then my body will store food for energy.

Hmmm, any suggestions?

Hiya girls! The SiS workouts are great and yes the inches do vanish!!! its really amazing but I have had such a hard time doing them because I feel they are a really boring hour!!! lol... BUT they dooo BURN! and work!

Iansgirl- if you are working out and eating enough your body won't store food- you just have to find the right balance!
