Default I want SUGAR!!!

I am having a very moody day and I desparately am trying to stay away from the sugar. It's hard. I am an emotional eater and all I wanna do right now is pig out. I also want a coke so bad I would even settle for a diet coke! Any advice on what I can do to get through this?

Hey I'm not on Atkins, but I always found eating an opposite food can confound a sugar craving. Dill pickles are awesome for this. When cravings get really bad and I have honestly assessed if I am REALLY hungry (if I'm really hungry I eat something) or just BORED and MUNCHY - I brush and floss my teeth. I never like to eat when my mouth is all minty.

Diet Dr Pepper! It saves my life, cuz I have such a sweet tooth too. It always helps, and it doesn't taste diet as much as others.

The purpose of Atkins Induction is to rid your body of sugar. That being said, there are "induction friendly" desserts folks doing Atkins can enjoy Cheesecake, custard, pudding, ice cream and chocolate bark.

Crystal Light peach tea contains corn syrup solids as well as maltodextrin & caffeine, none of which would be suitable for Atkins Induction. And caramel flavored rice cakes...those are a no-no as well.

Hope this helps

I eat these chocolate bars that have oligofructose and erythritol in them, suitable for induction. Chocoperfection. I got em at a healthfood store
