After losing 30 pounds....they aren't as big as they used to be. Yay!

Keep on your healthy journey and they will continue to slim down.

Ya know even when I weighed 125 pounds (yes...it true - along time ago) my thighs were huge in comparison to the rest of my body. I think sometimes our natural shape is what it is.

That being said...maybe you can find some spot exercises to help tone and shape your legs a little bit.

Congrats on your weight loss.

They'll get smaller. I'm your height and I am now seeing my thighs get smaller faster than the rest of me. Before, my legs and hips were the slowest to go.

Running really changed my legs a lot!

When I lie down in bed at night on my side now, I think I'm starting to feel my knees and my ankles touching together...bone to bone, with much less cushioning in between.

It's kind of weird! But also cool.

Keep going, you'll get there

HI -- I am sure that my legs still are bigger then yours I have lost everywhere but my legs -- It is really weird but I have been told that If I keep losing weight my legs will become smaller.

I am waiting for that to happen-- HANG IN THERE and you may have well shaped legs ! I know that I have lost 60 lbs (and I think it is all in my upper body) its kinda funny looking because you have this very small (well no part is very small) upper body sitting on this table like lower body ???

Soon I will be balanced and the weight will come off the legs hips and butt--

I'm a heavy leg girl too. I've been doing the treadmill on an incline, I keep upping the incline when it gets easier. I think it's helping to trim my thighs. I'm sure they will never be thin since they weren't when I was very young and at a healthy weight. My cousin and I call it the curse of our family. At least we are not alone.

I have trees for legs! Oh well, at least they support us and mine can do awesome sets of lunges and squats!! As well as take me on beautiful hikes!

For the record, since this may be a contest, I just measured my upper thighs and they are a tad over 28 inches! If memory serves me right though, they were 32 inches a few months ago!!!!!

All that stuff Beverlyjoy said.

I remember getting clear down to 115 once - really scary skinny for someone my height - and still had these THIGHS. This time around I'm doing an exercise program that incorporates a lot of stretching and I really see a difference in the overall shape of me. Longer and leaner without so much *saddlebag*.
