I only buy stuff there that I can't get cheaper elsewhere, is a good price on sale or is a comparable price or I can't find elsewhere (like my vitamins although they are the same price if ordered online). I eyed the tofurkey deli slices but the price was a bit too steep for me.

I just went to Whole Foods today. I was shocked at how LOW their prices are on a lot of the things I buy. Especially the bulk items. I don't think I'd ever buy all my groceries there, but I'm definitely going to shop Whole Foods more often.

I'm really liking the prices on their 365 brand too.

Question

I am a Canadian living right on the Michigan border, about an hour north of Detroit. I just finally visited a Trader Joe's only about 40 minutes from my house, and I LOVE IT but...where can I find this WHole Foods place? Is it a chain? Are there stores in Michigan?

BTW Trader Joe's has a cranberry chutney that when used with extra lean smoked turkey, some avocado, some alfalfa sprouts on a WW wrap or in a pita, elevates those other ingredients to a whole other plane of flavour! They also had some whole wheat rosemary wheat thins...omg....you can eat half a box for about 100 calories and I love savoury crunchy for a snack.

There are five in Michigan. Rochester Hills, Bloomfield Hills, Troy, and two in Ann Arbor.
