My mom, dad, and sister all started Phase 1 this week and she asked me for some GREAT phase 1 recipes. I sent her some of my favorites (Taco Bake, Chicken Divan, Easy Fish Parmesan) but was wondering what your very favorite phase 1 recipe is? I also sent her Kara's recipe for bean brownies...are they really good? I've never tried them.

They are quite good, Jessie....I still eat them. A suggestion would be to add a bit of beano to the mixture to avoid any....you know.

I have so many favorite P1 recipes that sometimes during P2, I struggle to attempt the P2 recipes

The book that I use is the orange covered SBD cookbook that was published in 2004.

I really enjoy these recipes:

Vegetable frittata with parmesan (I still make this 2-3 times a week for breakfast)
Tomato Salsa with avocado and onion
Yogurt cheese cucumber dip (I use greek yogurt instead of making yogurt cheese)
Roasted yellow pepper soup with fava beans and teardrop tomatoes
Hearty Minestrone - sans pasta
Black Bean soup
Shaved fennel salad with seared tuna and parmesan
Balsamic tomato and Mozz. salad
Nutty summer squash with asiago cheese
SBD tomato sauce
Ceviche
Five spice salmon
Big Easy Shrimp
Chicken Mole
Beef Kebabs with peanut sauce
